The room was beautifully decorated and had ample space for storing clothes and toiletries, the breakfast was excellent, the staff were efficient, and the location was perfect.

The double room was immaculate, included shower facilities, a hair dryer and bath sheets. The amazing bathroom was the best.

Particularly good and amazing location - a short way from everywhere we needed. House was lovely and beautiful. The breakfast was hearty with fried bread and frozen hash browns, for instance, and the staff were very attentive.

The location of the hotel is peaceful and surrounded by beautiful walks. The room I stayed in was exceptional, with a comfortable bed and a lovely open plan layout. The hosts were amazing, always available to help and made me feel at home. The breakfast was superb, and the kitchen staff were friendly. There were also plenty of TV channels to choose from.

The soundproofing in the hotel could be improved, as we could hear the TV from other rooms late at night.

The venue was exactly what we needed, with a quiet location close to Chepstow castle and within walking distance to Lydney railway station, the river, and a chocolate factory on the premises.
